I currently have a 24" aquaticlife T5 fixture and was curious as to if they have any led bulbs on the market yet!

Thanks, Luke

Have you looked at AquaIlluminations; I thought they had something like this?

Sorry, not them; I remember seeing them when I was researching my LED options (ended up going with a 72" AI unit) but now I can't locate the site. I'll keep looking and let you know if I can find them again.

This might be what I was thinking about: http://ledaquarium.com/aquarium-led.html

This might be even better: http://reefbuilders.com/2010/05/28/econlux-plug-play-led-replacements-power-compacts-t5-t8-fluorescent-tubes/

I think he's talking about actual T5 replacement bulbs that have led's in them. Not plug in strips.

The second link is for a plug-in replacement that connects into a T5 outlet; isn't that what you are looking for?

Yes but the second link is for a power compact led bulb not T5

The specific article might be for the CPC buld but the 1nd sentence talks about the T5 LED replacement:

"Econlux, a German manufacturer of general and industrial lighting has figured out a way to make an LED light which is powered by the ballast of your stock power compact, T5 or T8 fluorescent tubes."

Yes the article does talk about many forms of lighting. My mistake, I didn't take the time to read it. If only they had a estimated arrival date..
