Hello, The Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium club came highly recommended by some nice folk I recently met. Can someone tell me how to become a member and who to contact. Getting back into the hobby after 15 years and a lot has chaged! Thanks! :boink:

Thanks! I have a lot of re-learning to do. I needed a place to ask questions and I can count on the responses to be reliable. So many questions! LOL!

I'm just a lowly member, however, we'd be happy to have you. Come, introduce yourself on our website, and attend a meeting. We have the membership form at our meetings. When we get closer to the meeting, if you ask on the MCSAC.org site, they can either pm you the directions, or members will generally be happy to have you follow them out if you are directionally challenged like I am. Oh, and by the way, welcome back!

Just keep in mind the answers you get may be different from different people, there is no 1 way to set up and manage your tank, there are the basic rules and from there, you will learn to taylor it to your own way that works for you. Probably the biggest changes in 15 years are skimmers and lighting, start bigger than you think you want and it will save you one of you upgrades, lol. And take your time, it will cost you less in the long run, we all have attics of stuff we thought we needed and didn't :-)
