I was thinking about getting an external skimmer for my 30 gal Oceanic cube. I currently have a AquaC Remora.

Does anyone have any opinions on this skimmer?

not a very good skimmer....
kind of weak and powerless.
i would suggest:
SWC150 BMK (http://www.shop.reeffiltration.com/product.sc?productId=55&categoryId=2)
SKIMZ SM 121 MONZTER E SERIES - IN-SUMP PROTEIN SKIMMER - AquaCave (http://www.aquacave.com/skimz-sm-121-monzterbr-e-series-in-sumpbr-protein-skimmer-3321.html)

or if u need an external recirc skimmer;
SKIMZ SM 122 MONZTER E SERIES - EXTERNAL PROTEIN SKIMMER - AquaCave (http://www.aquacave.com/skimz-sm-122-monzterbr-e-series-externalbr-protein-skimmer-3325.html)

SKIMZ are out of Singapore,
the build quality and design features are awesome,
so much so that Jon Warner from WM has SKIMZ making the whole new WM skimmer line as well.
they use Italian made Eden pumps, which Eheim also uses for their "compact" line of pumps,
and the pump on the skimmer i recommended uses 12 watts and produces 540 lph of air injection.

It looks like they have released the Warner Marine verions of the skimmer.

Warner Marine MF 121 Skimmer (http://www.pacificeastaquaculture.com/Warner-Marine-MF-121-Skimmer-Prodview.html)

A couple people have stated the WM version is slightly better (more air injection).
