Hey, if it works and makes her happy and appreciate the tank more....go for it.

Lol!! Just let her rinse them out in the tank first before putting them under the lights to dry. The skimmer will deal with the waste

Lol. Yeah... Um ish the crabs and sand sift star fish might fight the skimmer.
