      Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Mazatlán, Mexico to Peru.
      Aquarium Care: Provide with plenty of hiding places, overhangs, and caves. This species might be found hiding during the daytime or hanging out in shaded areas, and feeding at night. May spend time out in the open if provided a dimly lit tank in a lower traffic area. Best to keep with passive tankmates. Feed a varied diet to keep the Tailspot Cardinalfish healthy.

    1. i have seen this specie in 2 m deep caves in mediteranen c ,a fisherman told me that they r sometimes caught at night during the lamparo sardine fishing..i told him 2 call me(no matter how latte it is) next time he catch 1..
