      Scientific Name: Apogon guadalupensis
Max. size: 13.0 cm TL (male/unsexed)
      Environment: demersal; marine; depth range 9 - 18 m
Distribution: Eastern Pacific: San Clemente Island in southern California, USA to Gulf of California in Mexico and offshore islands.
Biology: Inhabits rocky crevices and caves at depths to 18 m or more during the day, but moves off the bottom and out into open areas at night. Feeds mainly on planktonic crustaceans and small fishes.
Aquarium Care: Provide plenty of hiding places, overhangs, and caves. Will likely hide during the day, however, dim lighting and the tank in a lower traffic area may help. Keep with passive tankmates. Feed a varied diet.
