      Scientific Name: Cryptocentrus caeruleopunctatus
      Max. size: 13.0 cm TL (male/unsexed)
      Environment: reef-associated; marine
      Distribution: Western Indian Ocean: known only from the Red Sea.
      Biology: Found on open sand bottoms of clear water reefs. Lives in association with alpheid shrimps.
      Aquarium Care: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and natural diet consists mainly of benthic invertebrate. In the wild it lives in association with alpheid shrimps. Requires a meaty diet such as enriched brine shrimp, mysis, and/or finely chopped fish/shrimp flesh, with one or two feedings per day. They should not be housed with aggressive fishes such as groupers, dottybacks, triggerfishes or aggressive angelfishes. Provide a sandy substrate with lots of coral rubble. Could jump out of the tank! One per aquarium.
