      Scientific Name: Gobiodon histrio
      Max. size: 3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
      Environment: reef-associated; marine
      Distribution: Western Pacific: extends westward to the Red Sea and eastward to Samoa.
      Biology: Found among branches of Acropora corals.
      Aquarium Care: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and natural diet consists mainly of zooplankton. Requires a meaty diet, i.e., enriched brine shrimp, mysis, finely chopped fish or shrimp flesh, and other various frozen carnivore foods, with one or two feedings per day. They should not be housed with aggressive fishes such as groupers, dottybacks, triggerfishes or aggressive angelfishes. In a reef tank with sps corals, feeding can be reduced to once every other day. May nip coral polyps.
