      Scientific Name: Synchiropus circularis
      Max. size: 2.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
      Environment: reef-associated; marine; depth range - 8 m
      Climate: tropical
      Distribution: Western Pacific: Mariana Islands. More recently reported from the Chesterfield Islands.
      Morphology: Dorsal spines (total): 4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 7-8. Preopercular spine 0[1/0]1.
      Biology: Found on seaward reefs of Guam and Tinian, to a depth of 8 m
      Aquarium Care: As with other members of the genus Synchiropus, this species will require a large, peaceful reef system with plenty of live rock, productive refugium, and/or sand bed, as it is challenging to feed.
