      Distribution: Southwest Pacific: Australia and Lord Howe, Norfolk and the Kermadec Islands.
      Biology: Inhabits seaward reefs, at the bases of coral heads or on hard bottom.
      Aquarium Care: This species is not seen often in the hobby. Provide perching spots, crevices and ledges. Feeds on fish and crustaceans in the wild, so it may eat small fish and shrimp in the aquarium.
