Description: These freon to liquid coils are quickly becoming the industry leader. With applications in the aquaculture, air conditioning, petrochemical and other numerous industries, Polar Eyes heat Exchangers have proven not only to be extremely versatile, but incredibly resilient. The use of pure titanium has completely eliminated the most significant problem to face heat exchangers, corrosion. Titanium is virtually impervious to saltwater corrosion remaining submerged in harsh environments without having to implement a scheduled replacement program. Titanium tubing features a patented transition joint system and a unique swagged copper collar which makes installation as simple as any standard 3/8 in. copper system! (On HX50 models, the suction line is 1/2 in. titanium to 1/2 in. copper and is connected with a compression fitting.) The coils are housed in a compact (6 in. diameter) polyethylene case (shell) that can withstand pressure up to 200 psi. The case features a removable titanium flange for easy internal cleaning, 1-1/2 in. slip fittings are built-in for attaching PVC pipe or PVC unions. The flange features a port for temperature probe and a threaded port for an automatic pressure switch. Case color is royal blue. Polar Eyes titanium heat exchangers are priced well below the competition by virtue of their novel design and proprietary manufacturing techniques. With prices this low for titanium, you'll never want to go back to coated copper, copper/nickel or stainless steel coils again. One year warranty. Max. flow rate is 30 gpm. Titanium exchangers carry a one year warranty on all parts. The HX cases have a lifetime warranty. HP - 3/4 to 1, BTU - 12,000 , Overall length - 17 in.
