Rose Bubble Tip anemone, strange growth ID

I bought this anemone about two months ago and it has been doing fine. It has colored up since I'v had it and has been growing.

My question is what in the world the bubbles that are on the rim of the anemone. These have been with it since I bought it and haven't been able to find anything online that says what they are.

    Hopefully the image shows up

Those are odd, Id say it was damaged at some point and it just healed up like that.

now that you mention it the tank that I got them from was covered in aiptasia. Maybe the constant stinging caused it? At least that's my best guess.

I just got a small RBTA from another reefer friend and I would like to know what should I feed it and how often do they need to be fed. I have been giving it a mixture of mysis shrimp and rods food. It plumps right up when I feed him, looks like he is inflating then after awhile he goes back to normal. I have never had one before and I don't know much about them. I tried to google their care, but all I got was ads about buying one, not much care information. Also will he move alot, I put him on a rock I thought he would like, he moved about one inch lower and seems to have settled in there. He hasn't moved in a week. Thanks-Earl

At least for the past few months I'v rarely fed it directly and it seems to be doing fine. Mine will catch brine shrimp and krill that floats around for a little, beyond that I think I target feed it once a month with the pumps off.

The only PROBLEM I'v had is the clowns not hosting it! I may try putting it and the clowns in a catch cup to see if sharing a small tank will make them get along and start hosting. I got some weird shy clowns unfortunately that only like to come out to eat :/

I have two Ocellaris Clowns and they don't host it. I really don't care if they do or not, that is up to them. I have read that the Ocellaris Clowns don't really host RBTA's, once in awhile they will, but not generally. I am not really concerned with that. I just want to keep it healthy, it is sitting in the exact place I want it so I hope it is happy there.

I was worried at first of my anemone running around killing stuff but it has stayed on the same rock. So that third of the tank is off limits to any coral except some kenya trees that I won't mind losing.

That's why I never got one, I was afraid it would move all over the place killing coral. So far, he has just stayed within one inch of where I put him. We will see.
