    1guydude coldwater start

I got a free fish tank from a co worker!
So I will start a coldwater tank.
I've done a bit of equipment gathering and planning but the build.process has yet to take place.

I really can't wait to get this going. I need to find a bit of time and funds and finish this!

And just the light it came with. It has an acrylic cover that's soakin with the tank.

The acrylic sitting above the light is clear but ill prob use it for the overflow box if I decide to do one.

These dang compression gaskets have expanded I think from drying out and sw and such...
Anyone know where I can get some 3/4" of these?!?!

Tank will be simple. Ran with a closed loop chiller.

    And hob skimmer

    Doih

Gonna grab some pvc adapter later hopefully and get some 1" in their.
Got a skimmer for this tank.
Pump works great mfinn... I let it dry in the bathroom with the fan on for awhile before trying it out.
    Nice and quiet too

Hopefully my endeavor will be solved easily.
I was tired last night and this morning trying to water test this set up.

Pix later hopefully of it full with a light too

Yeah those Poseidon pumps are absolutely silent.
They are my all time favorite pumps.
