    1guydude 300g

    I'm making a new thread.
I've been juggling two tanks in a dismal dismay.
Still lots of work to do! Thinking one big tank will be easier than two. We will see.
    Thx

Out with the old and in with the new.
Working on cleaning these two up. Gonna cut the rock up from the coral and anenomes. Dry it and pressure wash it.

I have an acrylic 55g tank in my garage that was a Coldwater that will probably be cut down and used as a frag tank. It'll stay in the garage.

yeah through my personal exp. ppl, just set one tank up and focus on it. Two made it more than enough for me. The wc's, cost of stocking, two of everything just about lol.

My plans for this future build are bare bottom with an acrylic insert to hide the bottom euro bracing as much as possible. Edit: the three viewing sides are going to be starphire glass
Penninsula/three side viewing and YES a closed loop.
The overflow is external for maximum real estate. All tank for my coral and fishys!

The closed loop drain is the one main hole u see below the overflow. It will go up and over the tank and come out the four holes on the top. Return lines are the two holes on the back wall high sides.

Hopefully i can gather some motivation and get my butt to mclendons for paint and 1/2" thick plywood for the surface of the stand. Lets get this stand done!

This is going to be awesome Devin.
I can't wait to see this one develop.

If I can be of any help, I'm available most days ( during the day) and most Saturdays. No Sunday's.

Mike couldn't talk you into drilling the bottom for the closed loop returns?

    What's the glass thickness?

What are you using for a sump?

    Skimmer?

    Closed loop pump?

    Lights?

I could always use help! Specially supervision. Lol
I don't really know way I'm doing when it comes to bracing the floor or wat kind or spray paint to get for the stand.

No Mike couldn't talk me into putting holes in the bottom of the tank.

Lights are 270w leds. CT lites from obd.
    They r super nice imo.

Gonna run dual pellet reactors and skimmerz.
    Also dual 500w heaters.
    Obd twist lock reactors.
    Obd 12in. Skimmer.
    Lifereef skimmer
    Finnex heaters w/800w controllers

I also got one of those 4head jaebo doser pumps sitting around. I got a fancy BRA doser container.

My closed loop pump I got off CL. External barracuda that will hopefully b a hammerhead by install time.

I might get a nice acrylic sump made up. Nothing fancy just a clear square box with usable space and probably 3-4chambers.

My hood/canopy I like the idea of it floating or hanging off the wall above the tank kinda levitating. We will c. I know I'd like the access doors to open up rather than out. I'm tired of hitting my head lol.
