Hi! I have a tropical tank and its going pretty well. But I am getting interest in Nano reef tanks. What are some things I should know before starting a nano reef tank?
Are they hard to keep?

That will get you started!
WELCOME TO RF!!!!!
thanks
you are so kind
very honour here
My very first tank was an 8g. Kept it running for 2yrs till I upgraded. That was 6yrs ago and am now running a 40B. That little 8g makes running the 40B seem like child's play-lol.
If you can successfully run a nano you can run anything!![]()

OK thanks for your reply
Sorry, my post wasn't very helpful in answering your question. IMO the best item you can own for a nano is an ATO. Keeping parameters stable are very important in smaller tanks. Swings are less forgiving by far.

Stability is key to any reef tank.
I agree with birdaven
Does anyone have a favorite brand of nano reef tanks?
Any place where I can find one?
I found this page that reviews some nano reef tanks, would you agree with this top? : https://seekwee.com/best-nano-reef-tank
Looks good!
We get orders for lots of nano's. If you are counting the "most", then it would be Red Sea.
Used to be Biocube.
