how reef compatible are angels? this is my last question folks, lol, i love angels and in my 200 gal i would love to house a couple. question is since its going to be a reef tank can i put them in? websites always say to have "caution" but i dotn know what that means.

It's a crap shoot and the odds probably aren't in your favor. While I know a few people with well-behaved angels in a reef and some that keep their occasional munching to a tolerable level, most of the time angels in a reef don't work out too well.

As mentioned above most angels are not compatible with a reef tank and the few that you do see are a 50-50 chance that they might or might not become a problem. I have a flame angel in my 75 which is considered one of the better suited angels for a reef and I will have to end up taking him out due to his taste for various soft and hard corals.
