Well, the new shop hit a snag. I was told I had my permits on the 26th for the new shop, to be mailed on the 27th.

This Thursday, a week later, no dice! They said the clerk made a mistake and I have to have the building engineered. If I stick frame it, I dont have too. But since it is a pole building, it has to be engineered.

Not only is is expensive, the time delay is killing me here.

So, if you are, or, know someone that is, let me know please!

Thanks, Chris

Hey Chris,
How bout a steel building on a slab? Not sure if it's cost effective or not for you? Just a thought..........Scott:cool:

Thanks Gang,

I looked into them real hard, but went this way for various reasons.

The problem is, I already dug my hole for the poles. Now, I cannot build any other structure, because the soil is disturbed. I could fill the holes up w/ concrete or CDF, but then I have that to deal with plus the expense:( Its about $900.00 to fill the holes. SUch a waste because some clerk made a "mistake".

Guess I will wait till I have it in my hot little hands next time.
