Just wondering if anyone has any experience or runs the Velocity T4 pump. I'm considering picking one up for a closed loop setup.

I've read some coflicting information about them transfering heat to the water, which is something that I would be concerned with since the tank is going to be quite warm enough in my living room.

Any ideas or thoughts about these pumps would be great.

Are they worth the price?

Thanks,

Eliyah

I have heard that they are a great pump, but they are water cooled, so they do transmit a considerable amount of heat into the water, not ideal in your case Eliyah. I would lean toward a genx or iwaki.

Eliyah,

I like the CSL pumps. I am running two T3's on closed loops in my system. The reason I went with these pumps is that they are dead silent. Heat transfer is a concern but I have 75 gallons of sump in my basement which keeps things cool. So, if you have the ability to deal with the heat transfer, I can recommend them.
