Iceman,
What do you feed him? My watchman was fond of Mysis shrimp. Mysis carries a lot more protein than brine shrimp.

It has been most omega 3 brine and some squid. Do you think it just food? He has been eating very well. His color loss was overnight? The only thing that change in the last few days was it was pretty hot out and the tank rose to 83-84 degrees???

If he is eating squid I would assume he is very healthy. I am guessing it was just a little temp change like you said. I bet he is fine.

Diet will have a great impact on fishes coloration. Try feeding Formula1 frozen food. It has many vitamins and beta-carotene. Over the years I have been able to improve (not just keep) most fishes coloration with it.

Lights have been on less than 2 hours and colour is back to normal. Thanks for all the info. I was starting to get concerned. One of my favorites and I have never seen him to early before (only had him for a few weeks). Did I mention that I love this site!!!!

I freaked out when I saw my blenny early once. He also gets very pale overnight. It's strange. When the lights come back on he gets his color back.
