Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what a hitchhiker anemone is in my 5G nano. It wasn't spreading at first, so I didn't care too much, but I've now seen them in other areas of the tank, so I'm a bit concerned.

I haven't been able to get a discernable picture of it yet, but I'll give that another shot this evening and add that to this thread.

A brief description. Clear, non-tapered tentacles, with a small light brown spot on the end. Their base appears to be in the rock, as I can't see a discernable place where they're attached. Its a fairly small mass, maybe 1" across.

It doesn't match up with any aiptasia pictures I've seen, or I'd suspect that. Any ideas on what it is or how to get rid of it? I'll see if I can get a picture up tonight.

Hrmm. Quick addendum. I'm guessing hydroids right now, but I haven't been able to find a good enough picture online to make a positive ID.
