Hey Everyone!

Well after being gone for almost 80 days I have returned home to see plenty of growth in my tank. Some which I don't have a clue where it came from. Here is a pic of just such an organism. Any Ideas? Thanks!

Welcome back Greg, good to hear from ya. What you have thier is a sponge. I would move the acro over a little bit more. when it comes to a battle the sponges always win/

Thanks Mike!

I have some sponges in the sump but they don't look like that.... Anyway since the acro is attached I guess the sponge will have to go......

If you can keep it submerged while moving it, it will survive. These types of sponges are normally white and hide in dark spots, when they get exposed to light they turn black.
