actually they are flower tubes that they put rose the stems in, they are acrylic with silicone tops. sense I had to frag the heck out of a birds nest to stop an encroaching weird algae from killing it I figured it would be easier to stick them in there.

thanks for the comments, the tank was looking like hell before I moved into my new house as the temp went up to 104 degrees while I was on holidays and wiped out all my montipora, I had a few caps that were astonishing and some really big digitata that all turned white. probably lost 2/3 of my coral.
