I got my 3 new sps. A pocillipora, a green stylo, and a montipora cap. I sat the poc, and they stylo on their sides, and they are doing great, but on aquarium advice a guy said that if they are leaning against something, they will get RTN (Rapid Tissue Neucrosis) and they will die. I asked on #reefs on the irc and to brian on #oceanreef and they said that its perfectly fine, and all it will do is grow onto the rock. I just want to check with you guys to see your perseption.

Should be fine, as long as it gets good water movement around the coral and the water conditions are high quality a coral can lean against anything and continue to grow.
