Nassarius without sand?

I recently switched my tank to bare bottom and have several nassarius snails. Will they be able to survive without sand? I know they live for burying themsleves, but anyone have any experience with them in a BB tank?

i got a few in my bb 120 and they seem to be doin fine.

Yea they are scavengers they will find food where ever it it. they just hide in the sand until stimulated by food, then out they come.

I have a bunch of Nassarius in my tank. They actually spend quite a lot of time scavenging on my live rock and seem to stay put on the rock a lot of the time. Only a few of mine actually burry themselves in the sand. Maybe I have confused Nassarius
