Can you guys spot the zoa eating nudi in the 7th shot? I have noticed that since I went to MH lights that the population has diminished quite a bit

how long have you had MH lights on?

i've noticed since i've upgraded my lights from 175w to 250w MH w/ VHO's that my zoo's are actually starting to reproduce.

Hey Matt

I have had the halides on now for almost a week or so. All corals are responding well to them so far. I am going to start increasing the photo period this week. I started w/ 2hrs on 1.5 off 4 times a day, so now I am going to go w/ 4 hrs on and 2 hrs off, then maybe 5 hours on for this week. Next week I am just going to start blasting away for 10 hours strait

Nice shots! Here is a picture of some predatory Architectonid snails that will eat about a polyp a day. If you see any of these they need to be removed right away (unless you need to get rid of some zooanthids).

Regards,
Kevin
