sand on rocks...

Hey, after a small sand storm there is sand on some rocks and i want to get it off but if i use a powerhead another sand storm and sand lands back on rock, what do i do???

yep, get them squeezing fingers ready. tukey baster to the rescue. either suck it off like Mike said or lightly blow it off so it will fall to the substrate. it will be a time consuming task.

Much better control with a baster than a power head and you can use it to target feed corals and stuff as well. Get a new one, I always rinse my plasticware thats reef oriented in a mild kalk solution and rinse well in hot water before using it in the tank
