Hey does anyone know how much head pressure loss is associated when using a SCWD device? I'm trying to size a return pump and overflow box for Colleen's new tank. Overflow is rated @700 gal/hr. Wondering if a return pump rated 800 gal/hr @ 4' will be too much flow using a squid? I could use an inline valve, but I didn't want to inhibit pump flow. All feed back appreciated.:D
Thanks, Scott

i think you will be fine with the setup you mentioned, you will loose some head pressure with the scwd.

I think you will loose about 1/5th the total gph trough a scwd, or a little more, 4f plus the scwd & you should be way lower than yuor 700gph limit.
