Anyone done this?

I have a ton of 35mm slides I found when I moved my Grandma out of her home. They are from family photos that I would like to put on disk for her to see, and share with the rest of the family.

Taking suggestions!

Thanks, Chris

Yes, You need a slide scanner.... YOu can buy those cheap ones or you can also have it serviced outside.... Do you have the software and the machine to do it?

Let me know...

I looked at Office Depot yesterday. They have a scanner that will do it. Then I looked on Ebay when I got home and found quite a few machines. Some full size scanners and some just for slides and pictures.

The services want between $1 and $3 a slide to transfer. I think I will buy the machine and do it myself. They shop tha built my pc put a program on it to do this. I understand the XP has a place to do it that is fairly easy and does a decent job.

We'll see!

Thanks, Chris
